Jim Beam Virtual Bar

Arcade was commissioned by Quantum, Jim Beam's creative agency, to create a virtual bar experience for their Jim Beam Welcomes web app. The goal was for consumers to enjoy an immersive experience that showed how easy it is to mix a Jim Beam highball in comfort of their own home.

We developed an UX that put the consumer behind their very own bar, and gave them everything they needed for a simple, delicious (albeit virtual) cocktail: glasses, ice, a selection of Jim Beam liquors, a choice of mixers and garnishes. We also designed four very different bar environments to give a sense of personalisation, and presented them as 360 images visible 'across the bar' and framed by an AR portal they could tap to place on any suitable surface.

Importantly, given the focus on consumer engagement, they could capture images or short clips of their cocktail for easy sharing to friends or social media.
