Balti Virtual teamed up with the Washington Capitals and Bud Light to create Tilt the Ice - an augmented reality hockey-goaltending game.
Originally launched in 2019, in Balti's "AppAR8" app, and ported to 8th Wall in 2024 - the game is controlled by tilting a bar coaster featuring an image target to control a physics-driven goalie.
The project was a collaboration between the Washington Capitals, Bud Light, and Balti Virtual, and featured daily leaderboards as well as prizes for top players.
The move to 8th Wall is part of Balti's focus on making the best experiences as easy to access as possible for players, while maintaining a high bar for quality.
