Verizon and Omaha Productions Engage Fans with cutting-Edge AR football trivia experience
The immersive football trivia game features holograms of football icons Peyton Manning and Emmanuel Sanders
As the official 5G innovation partner of Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, Verizon partnered with Omaha to launch Game Winning Drive, an immersive football trivia game experience powered by 8th Wall’s WebAR technology.
Game Winning Drive is the first-of-its-kind trivia experience featuring high-fidelity volumetric AR icons Peyton Manning and Emmanuel Sanders as celebrity hosts created as photorealistic 3D holograms using a volumetric capture stage.
The Web-Based AR experience can be launched by scanning a QR code, turning any space into a virtual football-themed game show set. Peyton and Emmanuel’s holograms ask and react to football-related questions, and players advance further down the virtual football field with each correct answer. The experience concludes with Peyton and Emmanuel presenting a special digital prize to the player.
