For those on our Pro plans, launching a commercial project with Niantic 8th Wall requires purchasing a commercial license per project. We’ve heard your feedback that our commercial license pricing was too expensive and are significantly reducing our commercial license costs by 75%—from $3,000 per month per project to $700 per month per project. We’re also continuing to offer built in discounts for quarterly, semi-annual, and annual project commitments, to give you even more  options to save as you plan your projects and pitch clients.

What does this mean for Pro plan users?  

If you’re on a Pro plan, this price reduction means you can launch upcoming holiday campaigns using the full power of Niantic Studio and Cloud Editor—at a much lower cost. Whether you’re creating immersive shopping experiences, interactive holiday stories, or engaging brand activations, you can now do more with your budget and reach your audience in new and innovative ways.

Do Basic plan users need a commercial license?

If you’re on our Basic plan, you can continue creating in Niantic Studio at no cost—no strings attached! You won't need to pay a dime when developing projects for personal use, educational purposes, or any non-commercial projects. You can keep honing your skills and exploring new ideas without any financial commitment.
