Fox LEGO Masters WebAR Builder

To promote Fox’s LEGO Masters TV show, Fox teamed up with Trigger — The Mixed Reality Agency to develop a WebAR experience that allows people to build their own 3D LEGO creations alongside the show’s master builders. Users could share their AR builds on social media for a chance to win tickets to LEGOLAND, a LEGO Masters Build Box, or a feature on official LEGO Masters social channels.

JUMANJI: The Next Level WebAR

Sony Pictures and Trigger worked together to create a WebAR experience for the theatrical campaign of Jumanji: The Next Level. The world’s first WebAR activation to use Amazon Lex to power voice interaction (the same tool that powers Amazon Alexa), the experience sends users on a wild 3D adventure into the world of Jumanji. Fans can interact with immersive animations, discover exclusive content from the cast and buy tickets to their nearest theater.

Pink Floyd The Later Years WebAR Experience

To celebrate the release of Pink Floyd’s The Later Years box set, Sony Music Entertainment collaborated with Liverpool-based studio Draw & Code to develop a WebAR activation that allows fans to experience the band’s music like never before. Users can tap to place life-size, animated versions of the iconic album artwork into their environment, and then share photos of their experience with friends.

Porsche AMS WebAR Experience

Agency innovation.rocks created a WebAR activation to promote the release of the 2020 Porsche Taycan, offering users a virtual version of the complex vehicle to play with. Published in 4 issues of Germany’s biggest automotive magazine, Auto Motor Sport, this experience provides readers with an interactive 3D version of the Taycan which appears in their environment by simply opening a website.

Mawari

MINI Cooper Countryman Australia

Best Campaign Nominee

 

 

Mawari and AFK worked together to create a WebAR activation for MINI Australia, which allows customers to bring a life-size AR version of the vehicle into their environment where they can explore features up close. This ran as Australia’s first programmatic Digital 3D/AR ad, which instantly activated the AR experience directly from an interactive 3D banner ad.

 

Sapporo AR

Best Campaign Nominee

 

 

Sapporo worked with agency Mawari to create Japan’s first WebAR billboard, which was placed at strategic locations throughout Tokyo. A secret AR message is triggered using image recognition detected by the user’s smartphone. The experience was replicated for Nreal MR Glasses.

Sberbank March 8th

In honor of International Women’s Day, Russian bank Sberbank teamed up with digital agencies Mosaic and Hyper Reality to create a WebAR activation that allows users to send the women in their lives a virtual bouquet. The activation was promoted with a TV spot that ran in Russia, as well as direct mail and an email push to subscribers.

HooplAR+

HooplAR+ is a WebAR ad unit developed by agency Hoopla Digital UK. It is delivered on an AR Cost-Per-Engagement basis to ensure brands only pay for registered AR engagements & not ad impressions from the traffic drivers used. So far the agency has worked with some of the worlds leading brands including LEGO, Diageo, Kelloggs & more.

MediaMonks x Dimension

AR Holiday Message

Best Societal Impact Nominee


Last Christmas, agency MediaMonks teamed up with Dimension to create a meaningful WebAR holiday card that gave clients “the gift of giving back” in support the #TeamTrees initiative, aiming to plant 20 million trees in 2020. The holiday card activated a volumetric video scene of a child planting a seed in a wintery wonderland, which quickly flourishes into a tree. For every virtual tree planted, MediaMonks and Dimension sponsored the Arbor Day Foundation to plant a real one on behalf of their clients.
