Portugal Freedom Day on April 25th celebrates the end of dictatorship in 1974, marking a shift to democracy through peaceful protests.

Portugal Freedom Day, also known as Dia da Liberdade, is celebrated on April 25th each year. It commemorates the Carnation Revolution of 1974, which ended the authoritarian Estado Novo regime and established democracy in Portugal. The revolution was marked by peaceful demonstrations and the symbolic placing of carnations in the barrels of soldiers' rifles. Portugal Freedom Day is a significant national holiday that honors the country's struggle for freedom and democracy.

Our project allows users to digitally place symbolic carnations anywhere they deem significant, honoring Portugal Freedom Day. Additionally, users can create engaging content to celebrate with friends and family.
