Unlock the Wings

"Unlock the Wings" is an innovative AR (Augmented Reality) project that offers a new dimension to urban exploration. It encapsulates the convergence of technology, history, art, and culture, creating a city-wide interactive treasure hunt. Unveiling hidden artistic and historical gems, the project utilizes AR to breathe life into these treasures, enhancing the city's allure through a fresh and fun perspective.

User Experience:

We've designed the project as a city-wide challenge. Users, dubbed 'urban explorers', navigate to various landmarks to discover virtual keys unlocking unique AR wing effects at each spot. Upon collecting all keys, they earn a coveted achievement badge, symbolizing their comprehensive exploration of the city.

Production:

Our goal was to make this AR adventure as accessible as possible. Thus, we've leveraged web technology, allowing anyone to engage without the need for downloading a specific application. We've meticulously scanned locations throughout Dubai using VPS (Visual Positioning Service) technology. This has enabled us to place virtual objects with impressive accuracy within the real-world environment, contributing to a seamless and immersive AR experience.
